This tutorial is very thorough, and if you can't follow, or need help, you can always ask through e-mail; help@misterunscripted.com. Enjoy!
Step 1
To begin, create a new image; approximately 300 pixels by 300 pixels [300x300].
Step 2
Choose the Paint Brush tool. This tool is usually the main tool of a few subtools, but if you were using a subtool previously, it will not be the main tool, it could be a subtool of either the Airbrush, or the Warp Brush. Select the Paint Brush, or to select it just push the letter 'B' on your keyboard.
Step 3
Now, choose a colour you would like from the colour palette to be the main colour of your disco ball.
Then, it's time for the fun part; scribble around on the image. Scribble everywhere, but leave some of the background colour showing through.
Step 4
Next, you need to Pixelate your image. To Pixelate your image, choose Effects on the main menu bar, then choose the Distortion Effects tab. Once the new tab opens up, choose Pixelate.
When using this effect on your image, for maximum results, the below setting are needed.
Pixelating your image will make it look like it is a bunch of square shades of your main colour.
Step 5
Now, you need to actually make the image spherical. Disco balls aren't square; hense the name. So, what you have to do now is make your image a sphere with the Circle effect. To use this effect, choose Effects on the main menu bar, then choose the Geometric Effects tab. Once the new tab opens up, choose Circle.
When you choose to use the Circle effect, you need to adjust some of the settings. Once again, for proper, and maximum results, you need to use the same settings as below.
Once you have made the image spherical with the Circle effect, you will have what looks like an actual disco ball.
Completion!
Congratulations! You have completed the Paint Shop Pro Disco Ball Creation Tutorial!
